New feature on iPhone 15 thrills Apple fans

The latest iPhone is expected to come with an interesting new action button built-in. The time of Apple's annual conference in September is always filled with rumors and speculation, and this time is no exception. This year, everyone is talking about the iPhone 15, which is expected to be launched at the company's Wonderlust event on September 12.

The iPhone 15 is expected to be the most expensive ever. But the tech giant says the price will be worth it with features like a periscope camera and a more durable titanium body.

And for all those cursing Apple's ever-evolving charging ports, the iPhone will now have a USB-C port. However, one of the most interesting rumors concerns the new “action button.” According to MacRumors, this button "will allow users to quickly access various functions and settings without necessarily having to unlock the device or access apps."

This button is intended to replace the ring/silent switch that has been part of iPhone design since 2007.

This new button will be similar to the action button on the Apple Watch Ultra, allowing you to quickly access apps like Torch and Stopwatch.

Sources on MacRumors say the Action button will give users nine different options.

These will include shortcuts like writing a quick message or opening Spotify and taking a photo. It will also offer a great new translation feature.

Apple says this will facilitate real-time conversations between people who speak different languages.

And to compensate for the fact that Apple will remove the ring/silence button, this function will also be integrated into the action button.

If Apple is to be believed, the action button appears to save users a lot of time scrolling through screens to find the app they are looking for.

While the source seems pretty reliable, we won't know for sure until after next week's Wonderlust event.
