Neymar stopped from making PSG debut

Neymar has been stopped from making his Paris Saint-Germain debut on Saturday.

The 25-year-old completed his world record £199million move to the French giants on Thursday and was expected to feature against Amiens.

But according to reports in France, Neymar cannot make his debut as planned, because he did not receive international clearance on time, as official paperwork did not arrive in time from La Liga.

He will however be presented to supporters before the match at Parc des Princes, but is now likely to feature against Guingamp in eight days time.

That means the world’s most expensive player could debut at the 18,250-capacity Stade de Roudourou.

PSG finished second last season, seeing their run of four consecutive Ligue 1 titles broken by upstarts Monaco.
